Day 1: Airport pickup- Kigali- Lake Bunyonyi.
Today, your guide will be at the airport to welcome you and then take you on a wonderful city tour in Kigali.
After the city tour, you will proceed to Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale. Lake Bunyonyi is the deepest lake in Uganda and second deepest in Africa. Upon arrival, you will check into your accommodation and have lunch. In the afternoon, you will relax at the lodge. There is an option for canoeing and or fishing.
Day2: Lake Bunyonyi- Bwindi impenetrable Forest
After breakfast, you will go for a boat trip, enjoying the spectacular scenery on the lake before departing for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park .Bwindi Impenetrable forest national park is home to half of the world’s mountain gorillas. The gorillas you will visit are habituated. Bwindi Impenetrable national park is a UNESCO Heritage and is also home to 11 other primate species, over 340 vegetation species including the giant fern, over 360 bird species and 126 mammals that include the duikers, forest elephants and cats.
Day 3: Gorilla Tracking.
Today, you will wake up early and have breakfast. With your packed lunch and a lot of water, your guide will drive you to the park head quarters for briefing about gorilla tracking. The park guides will then lead you into the impenetrable forest to track the gorillas. Gorilla tracking is physically demanding because the terrain is rough and sometimes it is muddy since this is a rain forest, but the beauty of the forest makes it worth it. Tracking may take 1 to 8 hours depending on where the gorillas nested the previous night, since they are in free nature. You will spend 1 hour with these gentle gorillas.
Day4: 2nd gorilla tracking or community walk
Today, you will go for optional 2nd gorilla tracking or go for an optional community walk or Batwa experience walk. You may also relax at the lodge
Day 5: Bwindi- Ishasha sector
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Ishasha, the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Ishasha is famous for tree climbing lions but there are other resident animals. Relax at the lodge for dinner and overnight
Day 6: Ishasha game drive-Queen Elizabeth N.P
After a heavy breakfast, you will go for a game drive in search of tree climbing lions. After the game drive, you will have an en route game drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Arrive at the lodge in time for Lunch. After lunch relax. Queen Elizabeth National Park has one of the highest recorded biodiversity in the world. There are about 100 species of mammals and over 600 bird species.
Day 7: Game drive-Boat Cruise
Today, early morning, you will go for a game drive around the Kisenyi area tracks to look for lions and other wildlife that include elephants, water bucks, topi, Uganda kob, hippos, wart hogs, leopard, and buffalo. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge to relax.
In the afternoon after lunch, you will go for the boat cruise on the Kazina channel. Look out for animals that come to drink water at the shores, these include the elephants, bufflos and the boat trip will reward you with a great variety of birds for example fish eagle, sandle billed stock, pied kingfisher, African Jacana, cormorant, egrets and other migrant birds. You will find hippos few meters from the boat, buffalo, and elephants.
Day 8: Queen Elizabeth-Kibale N.P
After breakfast, you will proceed to Kibale national park, the primate capital of the world. You will arrive in time for lunch. In the after, relax or go for an optional crater lakes walk
Day 9: Chimpanzee trekking-Bigodi swamp walk
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the park head quarters to be briefed about Chimpanzee tracking. You will be amazed watching man’s closet cousin, the chimpanzee. Kibale forest national park is the primate capital of the world and with guided nocturnal nature walk, there may be sights of potto, civet cat, rare African golden cat and bush baby
In the afternoon after lunch, you will go for a nature walk, in Bigodi wetland sanctuary where you will see different types of monkeys like the red colubus monkey, the blue monkey, L’Hoest and grey cheeked monkeys and countless birds that include the cute great blue turaco.
Day 10: Kibale – Lake Mburo National Park.
After early breakfast, you will depart from Kibale National park to Lake Mburo National Park through a beautiful landscape. Lake Mburo houses a large number of savannah animals like the Zebra, wart hogs, impalas, elands, and buffalo. You will arrive at the lodge in time of lunch. In the evening, you may decide to relax or go for optional guided nature walk.
Day 11: Lake Mburo National Park-Entebbe.
Today, after breakfast, you will be transferred to Entebbe with en route stopover at the equator for a photo session and for lunch. You will stand in both the southern and northern hemispheres at the same time. In the evening, you will arrive in Entebbe.
Day 12: Airport transfer
Today, you may go for the behind the scenes activities at Uganda Wildlife Education centre where you will learn about the animals there, feed and kiss giraffes, chimpanzees, lions and take selfies with cheetahs. Later, you will be transferred to the airport for your out bound flight.
