10 Days Uganda wildlife tour to Kidepo Valley a forgotten wilderness in an area inhabited by the Karamajong people, perhaps where the last truly traditional hunter/pastoralists in Africa, live. Located in the remote far north- eastern corner of Uganda, nestled between the Napore and Zulia Mountain ranges, Kidepo is the last enclave of protected land in the whole Karamoja region with population of zebra, elephant and giraffe.
There are host of other occasionally sighted residents such as cheetah, wild dog, lesser kudu and ostrich. Kidepo is the only arid-savannah National Park in Uganda and supports a wider variety of mammal species (82) than any other protected area in Uganda.
