3 days Rwanda chimpanzee trekking tour is a fantastic safari to Rwanda that will take you to meet chimpanzees in their virgin forests. This safari is a short tour for travelers who have limited time but would like to track chimpanzees in Nyungwe forest national park. This is a destination for other species such as birds, monkeys, bush pigs, forest elephants, buffaloes and best sceneries.
Detailed itinerary.
Day 1: Pick-up and transfer to Nyungwe forest
On this day, our driver representative will pick you from the hotel/airport, he will take you through the itinerary and then transfer to Nyungwe forest national a home to your relatives the chimpanzees. You will enjoy the transfer since it will expose you to different stopovers and best sceneries, arriving in the park will be in the evening, check-in the lodge, and enjoy an overnight.
Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and canopy walk
Arise in the early morning, greet your intestines with a delicious breakfast, meet your driver guide who will transfer you to the park information center where you will be guided about the chimpanzee trekking, you will be assigned a chimpanzee family to track, you will head to the thick forest with a ranger guide who will help you to locate chimpanzees, spend an hour with them, return to the lodge for lunch and in the evening you will go canopy walking.
This is another magical experience where you will be walking in the air, where you will be at the same height with trees, and you will be meeting monkeys, birds, nice scenery and in the evening, retire to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Check-out and departure
Arise in the morning at your time of convenience, enjoy breakfast, check-out and head back to Kigali where you will board a flight back home or to other destinations. However this trip can be tailor made and expose you to different destinations in Rwanda or by crossing to Uganda.
